FAQ
Frequently Asked questions
Light rain may not prevent your course from being postponed. Heavy rain or inclement weather will cause a raincheck, and your instructor will be in touch to find alternative dates where you may try for better weather.
We hang onto a $15 service charge, but outside of that, your deposit is refundable more than 10-days in advance from your course date. If you are within 10 days from the scheduled course, unfortunately it is not refundable.
We can reschedule any courses until 48 hours before your course. We ask that you let us know once you know, and we will work with you to find alternative dates where we can try again. There are no fees associated with rescheduling courses.
That’s okay, just send us an email. You can cancel your bookings and receive a full refund except for a non-refundable $15 service charge anytime before 10 days prior to your course date. Any cancellations within the 10-day time period may not have the deposit refunded.
Yes, please! During all of our courses, safe (up-to-date and intact) helmets and harnesses will be required. If you bring your own gear, we will inspect it at the start of our course to verify it meets our safety standards before using it. Don’t worry if you do not already own climbing gear, we provide all helmets, harnesses, and shoes for you to climb safely at no extra charge.
For the safety of our clients and instructors, we do not allow for spectators during our courses. As an alternative, they may also enroll in the course, and choose not to climb.
That’s super normal, and some of us are too. Our instructors will make sure that you take small steps to work up to heights, and listen well if you have concerns. We may climb rocks that are not too terribly tall if you’d like. We pride ourselves on pacing our sessions with our clients' comfort, and keeping our clients as safe as can be.
